Last year I shared my reading goals for 2012. Last month I admitted my epic failure at reaching them
This year my reading plans are going to be a little more modest and much more realistic.
- Since I have the habit of juggling several books at once, I would really like to finish the 11 books that I started last year but didn’t finish. Some of them I only managed a few pages of before I put it down, some I got half way through. All are non-fiction which include titles such as
- I have several historical fiction and other books that I haven’t been able to enjoy because of last year’s passion for current events. That has taken a back burner so I am looking forward to picking up books like
- Given his tragic death this last week, I would like to read Chris Kyle’s book American Sniper. Matt has already read it and was very sad to hear of his death.
- Lastly I have been incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to read and review books that otherwise I might have overlooked and even a few that I would have purchased on my own had I not been offered the chance to review it! This is an incredibly enjoyable process for me. I am fortunate in that I thoroughly trust the publishers and agents that I work with and I have yet to receive a book that I haven’t thought highly of. I need to leave my reading list light enough so that I can continue to do my best by studying the books and other products entrusted to me and giving you my honest opinion of them (I currently have seven books I am in the process of reviewing!) To give you a little sneak peak…

Just barely (like right now as I type, on CD) am finishing The Gardian. I liked it! Fun read! Good luck with all your reading adventures!
The only one I’ve read is To the Rescue. I’m excited to check out a few of these especially the Guardian!
