Cherie said I needed to do a forty minute bike ride followed by a ten minute run.
Um…
How exactly does a homeschooling mother of four manage to train for a triathlon in 11 weeks AND keep house AND make dinners AND sleep?
Well first, apparently you need a good photographer.
Then you need some Golden Grahams for the resident baby.
AND you need Starfall.com for the resident tornado. Â The resident blondie was playing with her toys
You also need an engrossing book (I won’t say a GOOD book because the one I am reading is not at all anything I would recommend, don’t worry, I’ll be posting about it for sure!)
A book is much better then music, audiobooks and/or movies or television at keeping me occupied while I workout. Â I discovered that while at the gym a few weeks ago. Â My 40 minute bike ride was over in no time!
And I actually ran a few minutes over my 10 minute transition run (teaches your body to go from biking to running without rebelling). Â I wanted to run for longer, it felt good and I was into my book. Â But I couldn’t make my notes while running (see all the pink post-its) and Jack needed a nap (and today is laundry day)
I almost forgot, it is imperative that you have a few odds and ends scattered around. Â That is vital.
And the dolls. Â I bet you can’t guess which is the genuine American Girl doll
Using that formula, today worked (though tonight’s dinner is still up in the air).
