Word of the Day – Alacrity

1. cheerful readiness, promptness, or willingness

When I ask my children or spouse to do something, I would like them to show alacrity.

In case you are wondering, Matt has been studying for the GRE and I have been quizzing him on his word lists.

    I took the GRE a few months back and used that word frequently with the kids :) Why is Matt taking the GRE?

      He’s applying for an oral surgery residency. He takes it on Thursday :)

      The Air Force has two residencies. One in San Antonio and the other near Sacramento.
