We found this beautiful swivel chair on the side of the road, destined for the dump. We rescued it and the skil saw that was beside it. It was obviously dump bound because it was dusty and the hardware is rusty and very squeaky. Originally I had thought I would paint it, but after I got it home and cleaned it up I discovered, much to my husband’s pleasure, that it is actually quite beautiful as is.
It has a few scratches on the seat and other places, but I just love the way the stain has worn away on the arm. Just beautiful.
I just need to scrub and oil the hardware oil it really well, replace the white plastic wheels with black ones and it will be as good as new!
What would you do with this chair?
