Et Tu? Google Reader?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Unless you have been living under a brick you know that Google Reader is biting the dust July 1.  My first thought was “UN-acceptable”!  I follow far too many blogs to check individually every day!

I realize how childish it seems that I didn’t know that there were OTHER reader services… but there you are.  I tried Feedly and really liked it at first.  The first few weeks of using it I thought, “where have you been all my life?”; but then it started to get on my nerves.  I hated that it wouldn’t keep me signed in and that it was a plugin (kind of like an app for my browser) rather than just a website and I had to authorize it to connect to google every day.  I had heard a lot about Bloglovin and decided to give it a shot.

Guess what?  Everything I loved about Feedly and none of what I hate :)

So if you want to continue to read my random musings on homeschool, DIY, and politics (it’s like a train wreck, right?  You just can’t look away!) you can follow me three different ways.

  1. Follow my blog with Bloglovin – http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/5290255/?claim=g96j8a5k8kb
  2. Get my new posts sent directly in to your inbox – http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=ordinaryhappilyeveraftercom/blog
  3. Follow me on Facebook (admittedly Facebook isn’t the most reliable way, but you MIGHT get to see random shots of adorable children and random status updates throughout the day ;) ) – https://www.facebook.com/OrdinaryHappilyEverAfter

So I want to know, what were your first thoughts when Google Reader announced its days were coming to an end?
