I had SUCH a good day yesterday. I woke up at the break of dawn to catch a bus to the Temple. Matt suggested that he be a stay at home dad so I could go on the Stake Temple trip.
It was so nice. But I have to admit that it just wasn’t the same being there without Matt. It’s strange to feel such peace and fulfillment and feel kind of lonely at the same time.
I also ran into Kathy Bumgarten while I was there. It was nice to catch up.
On the way home, I was talking to Matt on the phone and he acknowledged that being a stay at home parent is not very hard, but being one AND being a homemaker at the same time is almost impossible. It’s nice to get a little validation 🙂
Matt gave a GREAT talk in sacrament meeting today. Two of his speakers canceled on him, so he had to take up time for two people.
