This morning I worked out while Matt got the kids breakfast.
After morning prayer, scripture and song, we read a book about a little boy and a penguin who became friends. Then we looked up penguins in the Encyclopedia of Animals. Then we looked at a lot of the other pictures and “EWED” and “GROSS” and the spiders and salamanders and said “CUTE” at the other things.
Lucy read us a couple stories, and then we painted the binders that we will be using to keep their goodies.
Believe it or not, all of that took almost 3 hours!
Then we went to Bangor to run some errands. Unfortunately, EVERYTHING seems to be closed on Mondays. So we didn’t really get anything done there except spend money.
