Emma is so much fun to watch movies with. Last night we ate our caesar salad while we watched Ghostbusters. We started it on the late side, so we expected the kids to get scared and go to bed soon after it started. True to form, Lucy made it about 1/2 way through before her fear overtook her “train wreck” impulse and went to bed.
Emma, on the other hand, stayed up and covered her eyes at all the right times, and would say “oh no!” about every ten minutes. Matt and I started laughing at the CGI special effects that the early 1980’s had to offer and Emma laughed too. When it was over she said “I love Ghostbusters a little bit.” She then fell asleep on the couch when Matt and I went downstairs to work out.
