FINALLY! High Altitude Bread

Select Dynamic field

So… for the first eight years of our marriage, Matt and I have lived at sea level.
Then we were stationed in New Mexico. My bread, while always before was nice tasting and always rose obediently, became somewhat obstinate. The high altitude is the bane of this bread maker.
Fed up with making bricks, I stored away my wheat grinder until the sea and I are neighbors again.
I mentioned this to my friend, Cherie, and she sent me this recipe.
I would have taken a picture, but the bread was gone before I got the camera out.
Not only did it rise appropriately, but it was DELICIOUS!  The BEST homemade whole wheat bread I have ever had.
Get it here.
