I don’t know how it is that you can take pig fat and ash and make… soap.
I also don’t know why it is that I declined when Matt offered to take us out to dinner last night.

some mysteries will not be revealed to us until after this lifetime! LOL
You seriously declined? I don’t think I’ve ever declined an invitation to go out to eat from Jason 🙂 He took me out last night as a matter of fact 🙂
I have a recipe for making your own soap if you ever want to try it 🙂
I would have loved not make dinner, but not go out (especially with kids in tow). I was tired and wanted to stay in.
Does it require pig fat?
You’re funny! Nathan and I opt to do Applebees to go, makes life a lot more fun than taking everyone to the restaurant and waiting! :-). Also, you should borrow my Homestead Blessings DVD on soap making… you us lye (ash derivitive) and some sort of oil, they use coconut I think. Linda had an interesting point (and she’ll tell you it better than I can explain) about how the all the “extras” of burnt offerings were washed down and the people would wash themselves and clothes at the bottom… i.e. how we discovered that fat and ash make soap.
