Jackson Thomas Wilson
Born May 29th, 8:37 AM. 19 inches long and 7 lbs 10 oz (and that’s with him being 8 days early).
He’s a little yellow in this picture, but that’s ok. Once he’s in the system here on base (one of Matt’s many errands today) we can get his bilirubin levels checked and they can give us some lights if they need to. And we can also bake him in a window if we need to. What with this being Sunny NM and all 🙂
Lucy is completely enamored with little Jack-Jack. Emma is as well, but hasn’t been allowed to hold him because of her little bug (though she is feeling much better today). Spencer loves him too, though he calls him “dat baby”. “Dat baby is so tuuute!”
I’m doing better today after Matt came home with my drugs. I was even able to take a shower and get dressed without help (though it took about 3 times as long as it should have). It’s really frustrating to have to be waited on. I know it sounds grand, but not being able to get my own food or water or be able to use the bathroom without making sure I have back up… really sucks.
But Mom says I should be back on my feet by Friday (mostly) which is good since that is when I have to get my staples out.
