Last night my sweetheart (sweetpart, as Lucy would say) offered to give me a back rub. I think it was the first time he has ever offered without any “subtle hints”. He got out the lavender essential oil and rubbed my aching back for at least 1/2 hour. What a sweetie.
He also made an apple pie from scratch last night, and decided that it was an appropriate breakfast when combined with vanilla ice cream. Can you guess who the favorite parent was this morning?
On another note. The squid juice didn’t work. I was nice for a day and then yesterday I had another breakdown in the middle of church. No reason, I just lost it. My mental instability combined with a back pain that was (I think) caused by the pews caused our family to vacate as soon as we could get our act together. I was supposed to conduct the music at a fireside last night but there was no way I was going to be able to make it. I hope they found someone else.
