Now, to be fair, I don’t KNOW all of your daughters and so I can’t really compare, but I feel that I absolutely must brag about how I have the best girl ever.
All I know is that Emma fell outside and scraped both of her knees. Matt took her inside to sit and wait for a bandaid. With an armload of groceries, I walked in the front door to find Lucy reading “Cranberry Thanksgiving” to Emma to keep her happy while she waited.
I confirmed with Matt that he did not instigate that arrangement. Lucy was just being a wonderful big sister on her own initiative.
I am so in love with Lucy. I don’t know why we were blessed to have her in our family. I’m pretty sure that her wonderfulness is 90% personality and personal nature, 10% parenting… if that.
I have to figure out a way to harness that natural sweetness and bottle it up to feed to my other children in concentrated doses.
