I am still painting my house, and so, I need children out of the way, but they can only play with play doh for so long before they start putting it in strange places. And I would rather them not watch as much TV as they do. Today I ran across this great site. You can download for free, old records of children’s stories. They are short, maybe 10 minutes long. But I sat Lucy at the table, with some paper and colored pencils and she listened to Robin Hood, Cinderella, Puss in Boots and the Barber of Seville while she drew me pictures about what she was listening to. She LOVED it and kept asking for more. Now I know what to do with her while on the airplane. She’ll be borrowing my ipod 🙂
