I sure love this boy.  We had a few issues when he was adjusting to the move and the new routine, but over the last few weeks he has really come to think that all is right in the world.

In New Mexico he would rarely go to Primary.  More often than not he would sit with Matt in Priesthood meeting.  Now he looks forward to it.

He slept in his room with Jack until I cleared the bed off in the guest room.  He sleeps in the guest room most nights now.  I don’t really mind at all.  If he sleeps in there he doesn’t wake up Jack when he opens his door in the morning.  I wonder where he will decide to sleep when we have guests.

Once upon a time he had trouble saying his L’s.  We taught him how to say them correctly and he practiced so hard.  It took a bit of time to get his tongue to behave, but now he says them perfectly.  Sometimes I think he seeks out words with L’s in them just to show off.  “Mom you lllllook lllllovellllly today.”

Every day he asks me for his reading lesson.  He loves the rhyming games.

When he is really pleased about something he cocks his head to the side and gives me the most radiant dimply closed mouth smile you have ever seen.

Today he was so grateful when I let him have a glass plate for his dinner that he started to cry and said “Mom I don’t want to move away from you when I grow up!”  I hugged him and told him he didn’t have to worry about that for another 13 years.

I am so blessed to have him as my boy.
